"Pick 'N' Mix" Ten Sing Festival Concert
Saturday 23 October, 7.30 pm
We would like to invite everybody young - and young at heart - to a fabulous Ten Sing Concert!
About 80 teenagers from the UK, Czech Republic, Norway and Germany are taking part in the annual Festival held this year in Girton, and on Saturday evening they are putting on a show for the public.
Prague Ten Sing are star guests and they will give us a 30 minute performance. The concert will also feature songs, dances and drama from the various workshops earlier in the day, plus performances from other Ten Sing groups.
If you've never been to a Ten Sing performance before, this one will show you what Ten Sing is about!
And if you're familiar with Ten Sing, you'll know you're in for a treat :)

Ten Sing, Histon and Comberton
Fun, friendly and informal Performing Arts Groups - FOR young people and RUN BY young people
- We sing, dance and act
- We've got musical instruments and a sound system
- Participation is more important than ability, so there's no audition
- Subs are only £35 per year and the T-shirt £8
We take part in a variety of events, from Ten Sing Festivals to entertaining at the London Marathon.
Being part of the YMCA we have links with other national and international Ten Sing groups. In Summer 2011 we will attend the European Ten Sing Festival in Germany!
There are two groups in Cambridgeshire with roughly 2/3 girls to 1/3 boys, aged 12-22 in each.
- Histon Ten Sing has 30 members and meets on Saturdays at 7.30-9.30pm
- Comberton Ten Sing has 20 members and meets on Tuesdays at 7.15-9.15pm
